1960s Walnut Coffee Table by Rude Osolnik in American Black Walnut
This is a studio-crafted, round walnut coffee table by American woodturner Rude Osolnik. The piece was acquired directly from the estate of Rude Osolnik, and the table formerly resided in the designer's own home. Osolnik was an important post-war American craftsman, and Queen Elizabeth was even presented with one of his bowls as a gift from the US Government. He mostly produced smaller pieces such as candle sticks and bowls, but he also made some furniture. This table by Osolnik is guaranteed as authentic.
The piece measures 44 inches in diameter, and stands 17.25 inches tall. This piece is in fantastic shape, with very little wear apparent. The walnut has been freshly maintained, and it is evident that it has been well taken care-of. Overall, this table is in excellent condition. Please see photos.
