SOLD Mies Van Der Rohe For Knoll Leather Sofa Vintage RARE
Listed for sale is an exceptionally rare sofa designed by Mies Van Der Rohe and executed by Knoll International. This particular examples is upholstered in a beautiful tan leather and came from the same home as two matching Barcelona chairs. Many of these examples were owned by Knoll executives, the price when new was exorbitant.
Base
The wooden base elements are in lovely condition with minimal light wear.
Leather
The leather cushions are in fabulous shape and buttons are all intact. The filling feels like down or fiber fill, so there is no concern about deterioration.
Frame
The leather wrapped frame is in lovely shape. Some wear is found around the edges, as can be noted in the photos.
