This is a Knoll Saarinen Tulip Pedestal Coffee Table, originally designed in 1957 by Eero Saarinen. This particular piece was produced in Italy in 2016. The base is formed of molded cast-aluminum which has been coated in white. This example features a 42 inch oval top of Satin Arabescato Marble that is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. The KnollStudio logo and signature of Eero Saarinen are present on a metal tag affixed to the underside of the tabletop.

The table measures 27.5 inches deep, 42 inches wide, and is 15.25 inches tall. The marble top is in excellent condition with no chips, and perhaps a few small scratches to the surface. The base shows only scant rubs to the finish, and some scrapes on the bottom under the pedestal. Overall, this table is in very good to excellent condition with light wear. Please see photos.
