SOLD George Nelson Herman Miller Vintage Thin Edge Rosewood Credenza Cabinet Sideboard Bar
Up for sale is a rare vintage George Nelson for Herman Miller rosewood thin edge cabinet. The cabinet appears to have been originally designed to house bottles and act as a sideboard. It seems it could also be used for an array of other purposes. Regardless, this was a very expensive piece in its day (undoubtedly 1950's for production of this piece). The base is correct and original. While many pieces are fitted with individual legs, this variation is a rarer steel bar base.
Wood: The rosewood is in exceptionally nice condition. A couple of darkened spots are found on the top, but this piece is otherwise in great shape. Minor wear as to be expected with its age.
Metal: The base of this cabinet is chromed steel. The base is not pitted and gleams nicely. Original hardware is still present.
Interior: Interior of the cabinet is in excellent condition.
