SOLD 1970s Bauhaus Influenced Flip-top Stool and Table Set in Blue Fabric and Glass
This is a set of four flip-top stools with glass coffee table, created by an unattributed designer and manufacturer, circa 1970s. The set appears to be influenced by Bauhaus design, with use of chromed tubular steel and design elements similar to Marcel Breuer's stools for instance. The stools and table are nicely constructed. The stools have a unique flip-top arrangement, where the top can be used as a seat or side table.
The table measures 31.25 inches wide by 31.25 inches deep with a height of 16.25 inches. The stools measures 14.25 inches tall by 14.25 inches wide with a height of 14.75 inches.
Condition overall is very good to excellent. The blue fabric seats have some staining as shown in the photos.
