SOLD 2015 Eames Model 670 and 671 Lounge Chair and Ottoman by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in Walnut and White Leather
This is an original Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, models 670 and 671, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1956. This set dates to 2015. The shells on this set are composed of rich walnut, and the upholstery is done in a lush white leather. Both pieces have aluminum bases with polished aluminum top surfaces, and matte black powder coated sides. This set is widely considered one of the most significant designs of the 20th century.
The lounge chair measures 33 inches long, 33 inches wide, and is 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 15 inches and an arm height of 19 inches. The ottoman measures 21.5 inches long, 26 inches wide, and is 17.25 inches high. This set is in terrific shape, having seen light use. The leather is clean and finish is in good shape. Overall, this set is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
