SOLD 1947 LCW Two-Tone Lounge Chair by Charles and Ray Eames for Evans Products Company / Herman Miller in Calico Ash
This is a rare two-tone Eames LCW Lounge Chair, dating to circa 1947. It has the 5-2-5 screw pattern underneath, indicating production by Evans Products Company for Herman Miller. This example is in very good to excellent vintage condition with some light wear from use and nice patina. See photos. The hardware appears to be completely original and wood is calico ash.
The chair came from a Manhattan, New York estate and has been in the collection of an architect and longtime collector of rare Eames works.
This chair measures 27.5 inches tall by 22 inches wide and 25 inches deep. The seat height is 15 inches.
