SOLD Eames Herman Miller High Back Soft Pad Aluminum Group Chair 1980's
Listed for sale is a vintage high back Eames soft pad chair in light / medium brown leather. The chair is in excellent condition with buttery leather and aluminum arms / frame which gleam. The chair still retains its labelling underneath as well.
These early examples (this one dating to the 1980's) with four star bases are becoming increasingly more difficult to find.
Note that this chair is in excellent condition for an early chair, but is by no means perfect. It shows some wear and signs of use as one would expect.
Leather
Supple and showing clear signs of use, but no rips or tears. Some wear to edges.
Bases and Metal
Condition of aluminum parts is very good for a chair of this vintage. Arms show some wear to clear coat, but condition is delightfully vintage and original.
