C. 2020s Eero Saarinen for Knoll Womb Lounge Chair in Blue Fabric Upholstery
This is a Womb Lounge Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Associates in 1948. This particular example was manufactured by Knoll in the USA in the 2020s. The piece features a seat that is formed of foam-covered molded fiberglass that is upholstered in blue fabric, and it has tubular steel legs with a chrome finish.
The chair measures 33.75 inches deep, 41.25 inches wide, and 37.75 inches high with a seat height of 16.75 inches. This piece does show wear from previous use, including some "shmutz" on the upholstery on the arms. We can have the chair professionally cleaned to remove and/or lessen prior to shipping if desired.
