C. 1983 Ettore Sottsass for Knoll Central Park Emperador Marble Coffee Table
This is a Central Park coffee table, designed in 1983 by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll Studio. The design was part of his West Side collection, and the middle of the table is meant to represent Central Park. The piece features a polished Emperador marble plinth base that has four black marble columnar supports, and it has a thick square glass top. The Emperador plinth base has hues of red and grey, a fine contrast to the black marble supports.
This table measures 29.5 inches long, 29.5 inches wide, and 16 inches high. The table is in excellent shape, lest for a small professionally executed repair on one corner. There may be some fine scratches on the glass top, but the corners of the glass have no chips. Overall, this table is in wonderful condition.
