C. 1958 Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Dining Shell Chair in Gray 3x Available
These are Eames DSX side chairs, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in the 1950s. These particular examples were produced by Herman Miller in the USA C. 1958. The chairs are comprised of fiberglass shells in elephant hide gray atop a steel chrome H-base. DSX is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair on X-Base. The acronym stayed the same after they switched production to H-bases from X-bases.

Each DSX chair measures 22 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 31.25 inches high with a seat height of 18 inches. These chairs show wear consistent with expected use, but overall are in very good to excellent condition. Please see photos.
