This is an LCW Lounge Chair, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948. It appears to be from a transition period from Evans to Herman Miller since it has the 5-2-5 screw pattern, along with the later Herman Miller foil tag, dating it to roughly 1952 or 1953. The chair is comprised of ebonized ash plywood, and its age has only contributed to its beauty. The finish has become smooth from use producing a satiny sheen.

The chair measures 25.25 inches deep, 20 inches wide, and 26.5 inches high, with a seat height of 15.38 inches. This piece does show wear consistent with previous use including scratches and surface blemishes to the seat and frame. Overall, the chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
