This is an Art Deco desk in Macassar Ebony, produced by Society DIM for designers Joubert & Petit in ca. 1928. The desk has a removable hutch, and has drawers. The original knobs are intact, composed of ivory, and there are coordinating sabot-style feet in ivory. We are selling a matching chair in another listing by the same design duo if interested. Paperwork related to the last date of sale in 1993 will be provided to assure provenance.

This desk measures 21.75 inches deep, 32 inches wide, and 39.5 inches high. Without the hutch affixed, the piece measures 30 inches high. There are some scratches on the glossy top surface, but overall, this desk is in very good condition. Please see photos.
