1960s Berlin 57 Daybed, Model T303 by Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson in Beech with Original Fabric
This is an important Berlin Daybed, Model T303, initially designed by Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson in 1957. It features a solid beech frame with graceful, tapered legs, and it retains its original cushion that is upholstered in tufted grey fabric. This model was initially presented at the International Building Exhibition in Berlin in 1957, from whence its name was derived.
The daybed measures 42.13 inches deep, 79.93 inches wide, and 19.3 inches high. It has a seat height of 15.75 inches. There are some light marks and scuffs on the legs, and the original cushion is a bit crunchy (could use new foam). Overall, this piece is in very good original condition with light wear.
