2020s Jaime Hayon for Cassina Reaction Poetique Side Table in Solid Ashwood
This is a Reaction Poetique side or end table, initially designed by Jamie Hayon for Cassina in 2015. This particular example was manufactured in Meda, Italy in the 2020s. The table has a body made from ashwood that has been ebonized, and it has a sculptural silhouette with a cross hatch handle on its top.
The low-gloss finish complements the natural wood grain nicely.
This piece measures 15.5 inches in diameter, and is 22 inches high. It weighs approximately 18 lbs. There are some scrapes on the bottom of the base, and there are some very minor chips on the table top and sides. There is also a small dark streak across the base, and there is one light scratch on the top surface. Overall, this table is in very good condition. Please see photos.
