This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Desk Chair, Model EA437, initially designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This example dates to the 2020s. The design features a solid yet lightweight aluminum frame, and has a seat with 2 inch thick cushions upholstered in cognac brown leather. The chair offers a tilt feature with locking capability, a full 360-degree swivel, and a manual lift mechanism.

This chair measures 23.75 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 40 inches high, with a seat height of 18.5 inches. The piece does show signs of use consistent with previous ownership. There are minor scuffs and scratches on the frame and base, and there are some creases on the leather. There is a very small repair to the leather on the back of the chair that is essentially undetectable. Overall, this chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
