2018 Pair of Herman Miller Eames DSR Dining Chairs in Blue Fabric, Steel Frame
This is a pair of upholstered DSR Chairs, initially designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1951 for Herman Miller. These particular examples were produced in 2018, and the listed price includes the pair of two chairs as shown. They feature white molded plastic shell seats, and these are upholstered in a deep blue fabric. They have the classic Eiffel bases that are made with steel wire, and they have a white powder-coated finish. DSR is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair Rod Base.
Each chair measure 22 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 31.125 inches high, with a seat height of 17.5 inches. These pieces show light wear from previous use, including minor blemishes on the white shells and some stitching that is becoming loose on the seats. Overall, the chairs remain in good condition.
