This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Desk Chair, Model EA437, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. These examples date to the year 1999. The design includes a solid yet lightweight aluminum frame and a seat with 2 inch thick cushions upholstered in black leather. The chair offers a tilt feature with locking capability, a full 360-degree swivel, and a manual lift mechanism.

Each chair measures 23.75 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 40 inches high, with a seat height of 18.5 inches. These pieces do show wear consistent with previous use.
