1990s Peter Maly for Tonon Italia Postmodern Extension Dining Table with Leaf
This is a Postmodern Extension Dining Room Table, designed by Peter Maly for Tonon Italy in 1990. The base of the piece features a triangular motif, and has centralized tubular steel supports that are coated in dark gray enamel. The top is formed of granular wood that has achieved a honey-hued patina.
This table measures 47.25 inches in diameter sans leaf, with the optional leaf measuring 19 inches wide. It measures 29 inches high. There is discoloration on the surface of the table, and the varnish on the wood has yellowed with time. We can have the top professionally refinished for an extra charge upon request. There are some minor blemishes present on the base and top, including some small chips underneath the top. Overall, this table is in good condition. Please see photos.
