1989 Leon Rosen for Pace Collection Medina Dining Table with Two Leaves 84-121 inches
This is a substantial “Medina” Mixed Wood Extendable Dining Table, designed by Leon Rosen for The Pace Collection ca. 1989. It was produced in Italy around the same time. The piece has a modified rectangular top paneled in various woods, including figured maple and walnut. Each corner leg is in-cut, and the two sides have contrasting stains to give the design visual interest. The wood is coated in a high gloss clear lacquer that lends it a Deco feel.
This table measures 45.5 inches long, 84 inches wide (sans leaves) and 30 inches high. When both leaves are in place, the piece extends to 121 inches in width. There is some minor loss on one corner, and there are some scratches and scuffs to the surface. Overall, this table is in very good condition. If desired, we can have this fully refinished by our refinisher for an additional fee. It is not necessary in our eyes, but certainly can be done. Please see photos.
