$ 5,000

This is a Postmodern Lacquered Bench, designed by an unknown artisan for the vintage market in the 1980s. This particular example was likely produced in Italy. The design is comprised of a solid wood core, and it is finished with a sleek, high-gloss piano lacquer in contrasting light tan and dark brown.

The bench measures 20 inches deep, 74 inches wide, and 21 inches high. This piece shows some signs of previous use, including small chips on the lacquer. It does not appear to retain any manufacturer labels or maker's marks. Overall, this bench is in good condition. Please see photos.
