1980s Le Corbusier Jeanneret Perriand Cassina LC2 Petite Club Chair 1x Available
This is an LC2 Petit Modele Lounge Chair, initially designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier and his collaborators, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. These particular examples were produced by Cassina in Italy and date to the 1980s. The silhouette is widely considered to be the ultimate triumph in Bauhaus ingenuity, evident in its tubular chromed-steel construction. The aforementioned designers referred to these pieces as “household equipment”, a rather amusing way to look at furniture. The listed price includes one chair.
The chair measures 27.6 inches deep, 29.9 inches wide, and 26.4 inches high, with a seat height of 18.9 inches. There are some small scuffs and scratches on the bases, and there are notable signs of use on the leather. Overall, this chair is in good condition. Please see photos.
