Listed for sale is a 1980s Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman with original Brazilian rosewood panels and unusual purple leather cushions. This example is in very good original condition. The leather cushions have vibrant purple color, which is consistent throughout. The leather color appears to have been professionally refreshed. There is some wear as noted on the headrest that can be seen in the photos. There are no tears. The armrests also show some wear to the corners, as is typical for chairs of this vintage. The ottoman cushion is in very nice shape and is quite supple. As far as the aluminum bases and parts go, they are in nice condition and shine appropriately. The rosewood panels do not show any major chips or damage. We have not yet oiled these panels and thus, if you would like us to refresh the panels with oil prior to shipping, we can happily do this. Note, this is the exact lounge chair and ottoman that you would be receiving. It is the standard size, as the tall version was not made until the late 2010s.
