This is a Circle Lounge Chair, model PP-130, initially designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1985. PP Mobler picked up the manufacturing rights for the design in 1986 in Denmark. This example dates to the 1980s, and is a first production signed piece with the original tag affixed. Later editions, apres-1994, are marked with a brand to the frame.

The frame is made with solid oak that has developed a fine patina. Our woodworker has sanded all of the wooden parts that he was able to access, and he then applied additional finish. The cording is original, though could be replaced in the future if so desired. It has two casters on the back legs only, if you wish to easily wheel it to another spot.

This chair measures 37 inches deep, 44 inches wide, and 38.2 inches high. It has a seat height of 16.5 inches. The rope upholstery is original and the seat has some discoloration. There are some remaining scuffs here and there on the frame. Overall, this important chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
