1979 Warren Platner for Knoll Executive Desk in Leather, Oak, and Chromed Steel
This is a Large Executive Desk, designed by Warren Platner for Knoll International in 1973. The desk features a minimalist design, having a chromed-steel cantilever base. It has an inset top that is finished in dark brown leather which is framed with oak wood edging. The piece was crafted with quality materials, including top-grain leather and solid oak. It came from the Union National Bank of Little Rock, and retains a plaque that indicates that it was part of their inventory. We also have a coordinating credenza that is available for separate purchase.
This desk measures 43.31 inches deep, 90.16 inches wide, and 29.53 inches high. There are some light scratches on the leather top, and there is some patina on the wood. A bit of white out is inside of one of the drawers as photographed. Overall, this desk is in very good condition. Please see photos.
