$ 500

This is a Kyoto Dish Set, initially designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli for Casigliani in 1971. The design was officially released in 1979. These particular examples were produced in Italy and date to 1979. The pieces are made with premium melamine. The deep rim construction allows the dishes to be stacked cleanly, with flatware and leftovers remaining sealed inside.

The listed price includes a set of four dishes, and we have 16 sets available for purchase in different colors. We have 7 sets in deep red, 7 sets in tan, and 2 sets in white. Please inquire if interested in purchasing more than one set.

Fifty percent of all proceeds will directly benefit the Vignelli Center for Design Studies at RIT, supporting the preservation of the permanent Vignelli archive.

Each dish measures 12.5 inches in diameter. Overall, these dishes are in good condition and come in their original packaging. Please see photos.
