This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Chair, Model EA420, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. This example dates to the year 1973. The design features a cast aluminum frame with an adjustable four-star base, and seats that are upholstered in grey leather and have plush cushions that are 2 inches thick.

The chair measures 23.75 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and is 40 inches high with a seat height of 18.5 inches. The leather is in good condition with some patina present. The base and frame show some normal wear from use, and the arms are in terrific condition. Overall, this chair is in very good vintage condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
