1970s Miesian Flat Bar Cantilever Chair with Patterned Fabric
This is a Miesian Influenced Flat Bar Cantilever Chair, echoing the designs of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in the 1930s. This particular example was produced in the United States and dates to the 1970s. The design is comprised of a polished flat chrome steel bar frame, and it is upholstered in a patterned woven textile fabric.
The chair measures 21.5 inches deep, 22.75 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.5 inches. This piece does show some wear, including scratches ad scrapes on the chrome frame. The fabric is in good condition. Overall, this chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
