SOLD 1970s Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman 670 671 Rosewood Tan Leather
Listed for sale is a gorgeous 1970s vintage Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. This set was designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller. This piece is constructed of molded wooden shells, removable tan leather cushions, and a cast aluminum base. The set is overall in excellent vintage condition with some light signs of wear and use. The original rosewood plywood panels are in very nice shape with some typical wear as noted in the photos. There are a couple of white marks on the headrest panel that can be removed prior to shipping if desired. The aluminum parts gleam nicely and leather cushions are also in very good condition.
It should be noted that this tan leather is an unusual and rare color, making this a more unique piece than most others, which are typically black.
This chair measures at 31.5" tall x 32.75" deep x 32.75" wide. The ottoman measures 17.25" tall by 21.5" deep and 26" wide. This is not the tall version of the chair, as that chair was not introduced until the late 2010s.
