

1970s Herman Miller Eames EC434 Upholstered Arm Shell Chair in Brown/Orange
This is an Eames Arm Shell Chair, Model EC434, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in the 1970s. This particular example was produced by Herman Miller in the USA in the 1970s. The design of this piece features a molded fiberglass shell with foam upholstered in a brown fabric atop an aluminum 4-star tilt/swivel base on castors.
The chair measures 24 inches deep, 25 inches wide, and 32.35 inches high with a seat height of 18.5 inches. Overall, the chair is in good to very good condition and shows some wear as expected from use. Please see photos.
