This is a ‘Hadi’ Space Age Writing Desk and Side Chair, designed by Ernest H. Igl for Bayer AG in the late 1960s. The set was manufactured in Germany. The writing desk and its coordinating chair were produced by utilizing molded polyurethane. The design features an integrated lamp that is in working order, and the desk offers ample storage space in a hidden compartment located under the writing surface. There are also three rounded drawers that slide out on the left-hand side of the piece.

This desk measures 24 inches deep, 53.5 inches wide, and 32 inches high. There are some scuffs and scratches on the plastic, as well as some light discoloration in some areas. The drawers all slide as they should and, overall, this set is in extremely good condition. Please see photos.
