1963 Richard Schultz for Knoll Associates Model 715 Adjustable Chaise Lounge
This is an uncommon steel grid Chaise Lounge, Model 715, designed by Richard Schultz for Knoll Associates in 1963. The geometrically welded-wire frame is powder coated in a matte white, and the cushion is upholstered in a mauve tweedy fabric. The Model 715 was selected by MOMA for their permanent collection, and the model was only produced for a short time.
The chaise measures 29 inches wide, 76 inches deep, and 14 inches high. There is a stain on the fabric surface, and the upholstery is a bit faded. There is some age apparent on the powder coat finish, and there are some chips. Overall, this lounge is in very good condition. Please see photos.
