1963 Gordon Bunshaft's Personal Ezra Stoller Photographs (8x) Beinecke Library
This is a set of eight original photographs from 1963 of the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University, taken by the celebrated architectural photographer Ezra Stoller. These are artifacts from Gordon Bunshaft’s Travertine House in East Hampton and came directly from the estate of Gordon and Nina Bunshaft. They will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from the heirs.
The photographs remained in Bunshaft’s personal collection and appear to be the original prints sent to him for approval prior to the project’s publication. Each print bears Stoller’s markings on the verso, adding to their historical and archival significance.
