This is an Executive Desk Chair, initially designed for Stow Davis in 1961. This example was produced in the United States and dates to the 1960s. The design features black leather upholstery with deep diamond button tufting, and has an internal wood structure. The chair has an adjustable, five-star cast-aluminum swivel base on rolling casters. We received this piece from the estate and personal collection of Alexis Yermakov, an interior designer who designed numerous pieces of furniture for Stow Davis.

The chair measures 25.75 inches deep, 25.25 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches. This piece shows ample signs of age and use. The leather upholstery is torn in several places, especially on the front of the seat. The corners of the armrests are worn off. Reupholstery is needed. The base shows lots of patina and is detached from the chair. Overall, this piece is in fair vintage condition and is in need of restoration. Please see photos.
