This is a Draw Leaf Dining Table, designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard for John Stuart in the 1960s. The table was produced in Denmark. The joinery is made of brass, and the body of the table is teak. The legs are also made of rich teak wood. The majority of retractable leaf designs feature steel fixtures, making this piece with its brass hardware somewhat of a rarity. We have lightly refinished the piece to keep the hard-earned patina intact. The level of warmth that the teak has achieved is worth preservation, though upon request we can do a full refinish for a modest charge. With varying widths, this table can easily accommodate six to ten guests.

This table measures 38 inches long, 55 inches wide, and 29 inches high. When extended, the piece measures 94.5 inches wide. Some scuffs and scratches remain, but overall, this table is in very good condition. Please see photos.
