1960s Paul McCobb for Directional Linear Group Dining Table in Laminate 42"
This is a Round Dining Table, initially designed by Paul McCobb for Directional Furniture in ca. 1956 as part of his Linear Group. The McCobb Linear Group was selected as part of the Alcoa Forecast program, and was a personal favorite of the designer. This particular table dates to the 1960s and was produced in the United States. The design features a round tabletop that has a white laminate surface, and has a four-point cast aluminum base.
This table measures 36 inches in diameter, and stands 29 inches high. There is some discoloration on the top, and there is patina on the aluminum. Overall, this table is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
