1960s Pair of Poul Kjaerholm for E. Kold Christensen PK 22 Wicker Lounge Chairs
This is a pair of wicker and steel Lounge Chairs, Model PK22, designed by Poul Kjærholm for E. Kold Christensen in 1956. The listed price includes the pair of chairs as shown. Both chairs came to us from the same original owner, though one has the E. Kold Christensen stamp and the other does not. Both seats were re-caned more recently and are in lovely condition.
Each chair measures 24.81 inches deep, 24.81 inches wide, and 26.78 inches high. The seat height is 13.78 inches. There is some patina on the clear coat of lacquer on the wicker, and there are some very small breaks on the reeds near the frame. There is also some age apparent on the steel bases. Overall, these chairs are in good condition. Please see photos.
