This is a pair of square side tables, designed by Davis Allen under the leadership of Gordon Bunshaft within SOM. The sophisticated design features a highly polished stainless-steel base and has a white laminate square top that sits flush with the frame. SOM produced hundreds of their own furniture designs during the 1950s to 1980s, and this design is a classic example. The pair retains their IBM labels along with Corry Jamestown Corporation labels. The design undoubtedly originates from Gordon Bunshaft and Davis Allen, though the building project was for IBM, which was seemingly not a SOM-Designed building project. Interesting provenance with this pair.

Each table measures 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 18 inches tall.

The polished stainless-steel bases are in good shape with some scuffs and scratches. The laminate tops have no chips or cracks, but may have some scratches. Overall, this set is in good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
