1960s Modern Queen Sized Headboard in American Black Walnut w/ Grain 60x40"
This is a Queen-sized Headboard in American Black Walnut, dating to the 1960s. The piece features a facade of lush walnut veneer which has a rich, vacillating grain. Queen headboards are rather difficult to source from this time period, as the Full was the preferred, size du jour throughout the 1960s.
This headboard measures 1 inch deep, 60.5 inches wide, and 42 inches high. The piece has scuffs and scratches where the headboard connects to a standard metal bed frame (not included in this sale). There are also some light surface blemishes on the headboard. Overall, the piece is in good condition. Please see photos.
