1960s Knut Saeter for Vatne Mobler Three Seat Sofa in Brown Leather and Teak
This is a Norwegian Three-Seater Sofa, designed by Knut Saeter for Vatne Mobler in the 1960s. The frame of the piece is made of solid teak, and the upholstery is done in a thick cognac brown leather. It is our feeling that perhaps the seat and back cushions were redone at some point, as they seem to be a bit less patinated than the original leather attached to the frame.
This sofa measures 25 inches deep, 73 inches wide, and 29 inches high. It has a seat height of 18.5 inches. There is some fading and there are some visible scuffs on the leather on the back of the sofa. The leather on the cushions is a bit striated from use, though it truly only adds to the beauty of the piece. There are some small scratches on the teak surface. Overall, this sofa is in good condition. Please see photos.
