This is a Large Lounge Chair, Model 924, initially designed by Knud Saeter for Vatne Mobler in 1962. This example dates to the 1960s and was produced in Norway. The design features a frame that is made with Brazilian Rosewood, and it has soft supple black leather upholstery. The design is often misattributed to designer Hans Olsen, but we know better.

This chair measures 35 inches deep, 30 inches wide, and 39 inches high. It has a seat height of 17 inches, and an arm height of 20 inches. The leather upholstery is beautifully broken-in and is in terrific shape. The frame may show some scuffs and scratches. The seat cushion appears to be a bit small for the seat, and was most likely originally the back cushion. There are a few small chips on the veneer. Overall, this chair remains in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
