1960s Jack Cartwright Walnut and Slate Side/End Table 26", Brown, Black, USA
This is a Square Side Table, Model 5085, initially designed by Jack Cartwright for Founders Furniture in 1960. Cartwright designed this slate and walnut line of tables during his tenure as the head designer of the Founders Furniture Company, a role which he held from the late 1950s until 1963. The design of this piece features a solid walnut frame, and it has an inset square slate top.
This table measures 24 inches deep, 24 inches wide, and 22 inches high. The walnut shows patina and scratches, and the slate top is a bit faded. There are also some scratches and scuffs on the top surface of the piece. Overall, this table is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
