1960s Jack Cartwright for Founders Side or End Table in Walnut, Cane, and Glass
This is a Walnut, Cane and Glass Side or End Table, attributed to Jack Cartwright for Founders Furniture. The piece was produced in the USA in the 1960s. The table’s base is decidedly Mid-century in form, having a walnut frame with a caned inset panel as a bottom shelf. It has a thick glass inset top that has a bit of a green tint to it.
The piece measures 24.25 inches long, 30.5 inches wide, and 22.75 inches tall. There is a slight chip on the corner of the glass, and there are some scratches on the surface. The piece of glass measures 20 inches x 30.5 inches, with a ¾ inch thickness. The bottom shelf measures 22 inches x 24.5 inches. The base has some light scuffs.
