1960s Eero Saarinen for Knoll 78x48 inch Oval Tulip Dining Table in White Laminate
This is a Tulip Dining Table, originally designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. This particular piece was produced in the USA in the 1960s. The base is formed of cast iron which is coated in a white satin finish. Its top is made of smooth white laminate and is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. There are two arm chairs and four side chairs with labels from the same original owner that are available separately. Both the table and chairs came from an upstate New York estate.
The table measures 48 inches deep, 78 inches long, and is 29 inches tall. This piece does show wear consistent with previous use, including minor surface blemishes and some worn edges. Overall, the table is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
