1960s Attributed to Aksel Bender Madsen Ottoman in Purple Fabric, 23x13x16.5"
This is a Modern Ottoman Stool, attributed to being designed by Danish designer Aksel Bender Madsen in 1955. This example dates to the 1960s. The piece was crafted with a curved oval plywood seat, and has tapered walnut legs. It is padded and is upholstered in purple fabric.
This ottoman measures 13 inches deep, 23 inches wide, and 16.5 inches high. There are some scuffs on the legs and some spots on the fabric. Overall, this piece remains in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
