Listed for sale is a very special arm shell. Note the thin base and black/aluminum finish. It is a Herman Miller arm shell by Charles and Ray Eames with 1957 aluminum contract base. It was dubbed the PSC. The base was produced for a very short time (only in 1957) and this example is paired with a parchment/ivory shell. The shell was made in Venice, California and is marked with the Ven designation.

Fiberglass

The finish is beautiful. It has not been coated or refinished and is original. 

Shock Mounts and Screws

The shock mounts are all original and are still stable on the chair.  

Base

Nice condition with visible wear to the paint, PSC 1957 contract base.
