

1950s Raymond Loewy for Hill Rom Rolling 3-Drawer Cabinet / Nightstand in Walnut
This is a 1950s Walnut Medical Cabinet with three drawers, designed by Raymond Loewy for Hill Rom. It has a frame of brushed aluminum, and has a case with walnut veneer fronts and sides. The back of the unit is painted perforated metal. The piece has three drawers, and sports aluminum legs with rolling swivel casters. Hill Rom was a branch of Romweber Furniture. Raymond Loewy was iconic French-American designer, commonly referred to as “the father of industrial design”.
The cabinet measures 17.5 inches deep, 21.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. There are some small chips on the corners, and there is some patina on the wheels on the back. There is a white mark on one side, and there are some scratches on the top surface. Overall, this cabinet is in good condition. Please see photos.
