1950s John Widdicomb Caned King Headboard in Walnut Model 544 80 x 38 Inches
This is a king sized headboard in walnut with caned panels, designed by John Widdicomb in the 1950s. The piece was produced in the Unites States. The design features two woven, caned panels that are attached to a walnut frame. There are holes at the bottom of the headboard that easily attach to a standard king-sized metal bed frame.
This headboard measures 5 inches deep, 79.5 inches wide, and 37.5 inches high. The caned panels show some signs of use with a bit of finish loss, and there are a few small breaks and stains. Overall, this headboard is in good condition. Please see photos.
