This is a Butterfly Drop-Leaf Dining Table, Model M197G, initially designed by W. Joseph Carr for Heywood-Wakefield in 1948. These particular examples were produced in the United States in the 1950s, and the listed price includes one table. We have two of these tables available for purchase in this golden-hued Wheat finish. This semi-translucent, straw-colored stain was one of Heywood-Wakefield's trademark factory finishes applied to their solid birch furniture during the 1940s and 1950s.

Each table measures 40 inches deep, 58.5 inches wide, and 29 inches high. With the extensions, the table measures 58.5 inches long (each extension is 16 inches). The tables do have some scratches and surface blemishes on their frames and tops. Overall, these pieces are in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
