SOLD 1950s George Nelson Herman Miller Pull-Up Dining Chairs w/ New Upholstery 4 pcs
Listed for sale is a set of 4 George Nelson for Herman Miller Pull-Up dining chairs with arms. This gorgeous set, dating to the 1950s, has just been masterfully reupholstered by notable upholstery shop Forthright NYC. Forthright is based in New York and CT and does work on some of the most notable modern upholstery work in the country. These chairs were re-done in a gorgeous Knoll Textiles upholstery and look terrific. The Pull-Up chair was designed by Nelson for Herman Miller in 1947 and was produced until approximately 1964. The chairs measure 22.5 inches wide by 24.5 inches deep and 30 inches tall. The frames show some wear and lovely patina from use (see photos), whereas the upholstery is fresh.
